Appointment of new Managing Director for Initial Textile and Washroom Solutions-UK and Ireland

On the 18th March last Henry Chandler (European Divisional Managing Director, Initial Textile sand Washrooms) made a joint announcement wit Andy Hobart (Divisional Managing Director Rentokil and Ambius) as follows:
“We are pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Bennett as Managing Director, Initial Washrooms Services in the UK and Ireland. Tony will join the company on 31st March and will report to Henry Chandler. He will lead the business as it returns to ‘business as usual’ with renewed customer focus and revenue growth in 2008.
Tony joins from Office Depot Inc where he was Director & General Manager, UK and Ireland. He joined Office Dept in 2001 from Johnson Services Group and previously held senior positions at Sketchley Textile Services and NWS Bank.
He takes over from Stephen Booth who is joining Rentokil Specialist Hygiene as Managing Director. Stephen led the significant restructuring of the UK Washrooms business, having integrated the two former networks into a single proposition with a new processing infrastructure.
Stephen will join the Specialist Hygiene Division following a hand over period with Peter Webster who is leaving the company on 7 April.
During his career with Rentokil Initial, Peter has held a number of senior positions including Managing Director UK Cleaning and Managing Director Initial Textile Services. We would like to thank Peter for his service to the company and wish him every success for the future.
