Under the Waste Management (Collection Permit) Regulations, 2007, those involved in waste collection activities must hold a waste collection permit.

This is another key element in ensuring that clinical waste producers comply fully with their Duty of Care requirements. Has your current contractor a waste carrier collection permit?  Under the regulations, copies of all permits must be made accessible by the producer of the waste from the carrier.
