Rigid Bins for Clinical Waste

Initial provides UN-certified rigid bins for all theatre waste and clinical waste disposal

Initial medical services can dispose of almost any type of clinical waste in these UN-certified, rigid plastic containers. This includes theatre waste from blood and prescription-only medicines to human tissue and animal remains.

These bins are locked to become hermetically sealed. Once locked, they cannot be reopened under any circumstances. No matter now much clinical waste you produce, Initial’s rigid bins come in a range of sizes and styles.

• Yellow colour coded as per industry standards and Department of Health & Children Guidelines
• Lockable lids when full

• Large / recognisable anatomical body parts
• Waste from known or suspected CJD cases
• Non-autoclaved large metal surgical objects e.g. hips
• Placenta’s in conjunction with additional leak proof containment
• No sharps or free liquids permitted
